Vagana pens new deal

Veteran prop Joe Vagana, one of Bradford's longest-serving players, has signed a new contract for next season.

The 32-year-old New Zealander joined the club from Auckland Warriors at the start of the 2001 campaign and has made 213 appearances.

"I just couldn't see myself at any other club and I'm real happy to sign another year with Bradford," he said.

"It's nice to be wanted and I'm enjoying myself and that shows on the field when I'm doing my stuff."

Bulls coach Steve McNamara said: "I am absolutely delighted Joe has decided to extend his stay with the club for another year.

"He has been in sensational form this year and is in the best physical shape he has been in for a number of years."
