Vaughan chides Colly wobblers

Collingwood came under fire for last month's disappointing World Twenty20 campaign but Vaughan insists the stick is unwarranted.
"I don't know what it is, but Colly always seems to get a lot of criticism and is always underrated," Vaughan said in the Daily Mail. "We lost in South Africa and suddenly people are saying he is not very good, but they forget he led us to victory over India only last month. He has only captained 10 times and is still learning."
England failed to reach the World Twenty20 semi-finals, despite having far more experience than any of their rivals in that format of the game.
Their failure did not prevent Vaughan enjoying the tournament and Vaughan reckons the 20-over game may threaten the future of its 50-over counterpart.
He said: "I think that it's a threat to the 50-over game, it's just natural entertainment. I found that I was happy to watch a Twenty20 match from start to finish and I can't honestly say that I can watch a 50-over game that way when I'm not playing.
Vaughan has also admitted he was "concerned" about the long-term future of Andrew Flintoff. England's star all-rounder looks extremely unlikely to play again this year because of a persistent ankle problem.
"I am concerned about Fred," said Vaughan, who has endured serious injury problems of his own.
"I'm not sure I could go through another operation and all the work required afterwards again. It's more tiring than playing."
