Vaughan plays down Flintoff return

The long-awaited comeback by the 30-year-old Lancashire all-rounder was confirmed on Monday night after he was included in England's 12-man squad for the second npower Test against South Africa at Headingley later this week as a replacement for Hampshire's Chris Tremlett.
"I think we're building him up a bit too much, which is a bit unfair on him," stressed Vaughan. "He has had 18 months out of the game, he's come back for Lancashire and done reasonably well. But he's not a wizard - he's not going to come and sprinkle dust - he's just going to come and perform how he can."
He added: "I don't want to put him under any more pressure. He just needs to come and bowl like he does and, we hope, whack it like he does - and try to get his level of performance to what it was before, but it might take him a little bit of time to adjust."
