Vaughan prepared to let go

The 32-year-old Yorkshire batsman knows from experience how split captaincy can put unnecessary pressure on the Test skipper having fulfilled a similar role back in 2003.
"It's interesting," conceded Vaughan. "It hasn't worked in the past and is it going to work now? I'm very confident that it can work with the personnel we have, but let's just wait and see."
Vaughan guided England to success in the triangular tournament against South Africa and Zimbabwe in 2003 having taken over from Nasser Hussain.
He then quickly found the Test job had also become available as Hussain resigned one match later believing the team had moved on without him.
Now he is in the same situation himself, having resigned as one-day captain and he knows his successor could put his job under pressure, just as he did unintentionally to Hussain.
Vaughan added: "I also know that if the new captain comes in and does a magnificent job then that's the end of MV (in ODIs) and that's just the way it happens.
"We've never been a good one-day team. All right, we got to the (World Cup) final in 1992, but we've never won anything and we've got to start winning and hopefully he can lead us to some success."
