Vaughan primed for England recall

The Yorkshire batsman and former national captain is currently in India with the England Performance squad while the first team toil in their one-day series on the subcontinent.
"I'm centrally contracted, I'm out here in India, I believe I've got a great opportunity to get back in if I get my form right," he told BBC Radio Five Live. "I feel that with the state of mind that I'm in, I will get that right."
He added: "If that diminishes or I get told by the selectors that there's no chance that I'll play for England again, I would probably look at where I want to take my future.
"But at the moment I've got a lot of energy, a lot of enjoyment, (and want) to get out there and play.
"The kind of buzz that I need is to come out here, really hit many balls and get that feeling back again."
Vaughan was left out of Peter Moores' party for the India tour, which also includes two Tests, but could be in contention for the trip to the West Indies in the new year.
The Ashes-winning skipper took a prolonged break from the game after finding out he would not be part of the first team's current tour.
And he added: "Over the last two or three months I've tried to clear my mind of all the issues I felt were disturbing my game and I feel in a great position to go out there, play cricket and enjoy the challenges which being an international player brings.
"I've had five and a half years as captain and I feel I contributed more as a leader than as a player. I want to get back to contributing as a good player who can hopefully score plenty of runs."
