Vidic eyeing exit door

Vidic scooped United's player of the year award last term and has established himself as one of the cornerstones of Sir Alex Ferguson's side but the Serbian has been unsettled in the north-west, with his wife Ana, and is eyeing a transfer to Champions League winners Barcelona.
"It would be a dream for Vidic to play for Barcelona as he wants to play in La Liga," the star's agent told Radio Catalunya. "But if we are realistic United have just lost Cristiano Ronaldo and Carlos Tevez and don't want to lose another key player."
Vidic, currently battling to overcome a calf problem, has no intention of rocking the boat this year because, after the exits of Ronaldo and Tevez, he realises there is little chance of him being allowed to leave as well.
However, he does intend signing for the Nou Camp outfit in 12 months' time if a deal can be worked out.
With United facing a defensive crisis ahead of on Wednesday night's trip to Burnley, the 27-year-old could be rushed back into action.
A more likely return date is Saturday's trip to Wigan, though, as the Red Devils maintain their bid for a fourth consecutive Premier League title.
