Walker post-mortem inconclusive

A coroner's inquest has now been opened and adjourned by the relevant agencies in the South Wales area.
The post-mortem results have now shown that the death was not caused by trauma or any injury sustained as a result of playing rugby league, but a confirmed cause of death has yet to be fully established.
Eye witnesses reported Walker making a tackle and getting to his feet, before collapsing in the 63rd minute of last Sunday's reserve match between Wakefield and Celtic Crusaders in Maesteg.
He was treated on the pitch before being airlifted to a hospital in Swansea, where he was dead on arrival.
Initial reports suggested the 20-year-old might have suffered a heart attack, while others have since pointed to spinal trauma.
Leeds half-back Chris Sanderson was the last rugby league professional to die on the pitch in this country in 1977 - while an Auckland Warriors player, Falani Latoa, died during a trial match in 1995.
The funeral of the former Salford forward will take place next Thursday at St Anthony's Church, Old Lane, Beeston, Leeds.
