Warne knocks Cardiff choice

Warne feels the opening match should be at Lord's, the traditional home of cricket, as it was in 2005. Sophia Gardens in Cardiff is hosting its first Test match this summer after being controversially included on the schedule at the expense of Old Trafford.
Warne told Sky Sports: "It [2005] was one of those series that was great for the game of cricket. It really captured everyone's imagination, it captured non-cricket lovers' imaginations in England. That is why I reckon the first Test match should always be at Lord's. How Cardiff get the first Test match in the Ashes is just a disgrace."
He added: "I don't know how they get that, I really couldn't believe that. The Lord's Test match should always be number one.
"The buzz around Lord's (in 2005) was amazing. The lead-up to the Ashes series was phenomenal."
