Warrior spirit thrills Noble

The Warriors brushed aside the negativity of speculation over Noble's future, second-row Gareth Hock's positive drugs test and a defeat to bottom side Celtic Crusaders to come from behind and beat Hull KR 36-28 on Sunday.
Asked if he thought the off-field distractions had affected his side, Noble said: "Of course, it was national headlines for goodness' sake, so you can't hide the players from it. So you have to find a formula and they found a formula."
He added: "The only way we'll be judged on writing this 2009 chapter for Wigan is through our performances on the field, and I think we took some huge steps in making people realise we aren't going to go away."
Rovers got off to a fine start with two tries from Peter Fox before Mick Vella put them into a 16-14 lead at half-time.
Wigan then scored 16 unanswered points before Daniel Fitzhenry and Jake Webster claimed consolations.
Elsewhere, Wakefield pulled level with fifth-placed Harlequins with a dramatic late win over the Londoners at Belle Vue.
Scott Grix crossed in the last minute and Danny Brough added the touchline conversion as the Wildcats snatched a 20-18 victory.
Coach John Kear said: "In the last minute of a match you would always want him striding up to take it. That one wasn't going anywhere else other than over the posts was it? It was very enjoyable and Danny will get all the headlines again."
And Warrington opted to delay the debut of former Wigan winger Brian Carney but still proved too strong for another of the Irishman's former clubs, Hull, winning 24-12 at the Halliwell Jones Stadium.
