Fly-half Freddie Burns touched down twice, each time converting his own score, to give Gloucester a 14-3 lead after Eoghan Hickey kicked Wasps ahead.
But wing Tom Varndell and replacement scrum-half Joe Simpson went in for the Wycombe men before Dave Walder booted eight points as Wasps hit back to win.
Meanwhile, Replacement Ryan Lamb kicked a penalty five minutes from time to give London Irish a 12-11 win over Cardiff Blues.
Irish led 6-3 at the break thanks to a penalty apiece from Tom Homer and Peter Hewat, with Ceri Sweeney kicking a penalty of his own for the Blues.
Hewat and Sweeney exchanged penalties after the interval before a breakaway try for Richie Rees put Cardiff ahead but Lamb struck for the Exiles.
Elsewhere, Harlequins got back on track with a 19-8 victory over Newcastle at Kingston Park.
Rory Clegg kicked two penalties for Quins and Rob Miller replied for the Falcons before wing Sam Smith raced in, with Clegg adding the extras.
And the fly-half slotted over two more penalties for the visitors before replacement Michael Tait scored a consolation try for Newcastle.
