Wembley blow for Kirmond

The 23-year-old former Featherstone player, who scored the Giants' match-winning try in their quarter-final against Castleford, suffered a medial ligament injury during Huddersfield's 12-10 Super League defeat at St Helens on Friday.
Kirmond has initially been ruled out for six weeks but he will go for further scans amid fears that he may have also sustained cruciate ligament damage, which would end his season.
"We're all really disappointed for Danny," said Giants coach Nathan Brown. "He's had a good year and would definitely have been part of our Wembley plans.
"He played a big role in us getting there and that's on the back of all the other good things he's done for us so consistently.
"Danny's a really good kid, who always trains hard and gives 100% in the games he plays.
"As you can imagine, what's happened to him has hit him hard and we all feel for him."
Kirmond was one of only six members of Huddersfield's Cup semi-final winning side to feature at St Helens.
His place at Wembley is set to be taken by Andy Raleigh, who made his comeback at Knowsley Road after a two-month lay-off with an Achilles injury.
Brown will also check on the fitness of loose forward Stephen Wild, who was the most serious of the injury absentees at Knowsley Road after hurting a knee in the 28-18 home defeat by Bradford.
