White could join England

Current England chief Brian Ashton has yet to receive official backing from the Rugby Football Union to carry on in the top job and with White - the man who masterminded the Springboks' 15-6 final win over England - also looking unlikely to stay in his current role, there have been suggestions he could make the move.
"England is a great opportunity for any coach," White said. "They have a rugby culture. They have played in three World Cup finals out of six, so there are a lot of things going for them."
Ashton's future, which has been further clouded by post-tournament comments from the likes of Lawrence Dallaglio and Mike Catt, will not be decided until RFU director of elite rugby Rob Andrew completes a thorough assessment of the months and years leading up to the surprise final appearance.
But White seems to be making it clear that he is an option should Ashton be deemed surplus to requirements.
He told Radio Five Live's Sportsweek programme: "There was no plan about what would happen after the World Cup.
"After winning it I have been linked to various countries.
"England are a power that can become a huge force. I would really like to stay in international rugby. Once it is in your blood, it stays there.
"My contract (with South Africa) ends on December 31 and after that we will talk about the future. The fact that England has two teams in the Heineken Cup final just proves how [their] strong rugby is."
