Wolves put faith in Lowes

The former Bradford hooker took the reins at the Halliwell Jones Stadium in May after the sacking of Paul Cullen, before initially being given the job until the end of the season.
But a run of six wins in seven games under Lowes' stewardship has seen the Wolves revive their bid to reach the Grand Final and the club's board have reacted by securing Lowes' services for the next 18 months.
Lowes said: "I'm very pleased to have been appointed in the role.
"It's fantastic to be involved with this club for another year. I've had a great rapport with the players here for the year that I've been here and I'm sure that will continue.
"It's been a real pleasure to work with these guys, they've been fantastic and I'm sure that will continue to be the case."
Lowes, 37, was speaking as the club announced a new shirt sponsorship deal with energy supplier Vestas and admitted he knows he remains under pressure to succeed despite the security given to him by the deal.
"I think you're always on trial in this sport," he said.
"Even though it's a one year deal and the pressure is on, I understand that. Both myself and the club are happy with the one year and hopefully it will continue beyond that."
