Yorke handed new call-up

Sunderland boss Roy Keane could be heading for another row with the Trinidad and Tobago Football Federation (TTFF) over midfielder Dwight Yorke.

The 36-year-old was called up by his country on Wednesday, along with club-mate Carlos Edwards, for a friendly and two World Cup qualifiers next month.

Keane and FIFA vice-president Jack Warner, a special advisor the the TTFF, locked horns earlier this month after Yorke was recalled from international duty following his country's 1-1 draw with Guatemala, but before a 3-0 defeat by the United States.

Warner accused Keane of being "callous, mean and disrespectful", while the Irishman's response was to brand Warner "a clown".

Keane was unhappy at Yorke being asked to play two games in a short space of time when he had not made a senior appearance for his club since fracturing his cheekbone in pre-season.

Trinidad and Tobago will play the Dominican Republic in a friendly at the Hasely Crawford Stadium in Port of Spain in a friendly on Wednesday October 8 before their trip to Guatemala City three days later and the home clash with the USA on October 15.
