Jordan Henderson and Fraizer Campbell dumped Birmingham out as Sunderland coasted into the fourth round following their 2-0 victory.
Teenager Henderson scored his first senior goal for the club with just four minutes gone, and when Campbell matched his feat 19 minutes later, the game was effectively over.
