Cosalt warns on its profits after shortfall

Cosalt, the shipping safety supplier where Carphone Warehouse co-founder David Ross was forced to stand down as chairman last year, warned its profits won't hit market expectations this year.

It said trading had not picked up enough recently to make up for shortfalls in February and March.

Ross quit several posts after it was revealed he had pledged his Carphone shares against personal loans.
