EasyJet finds going tough in summer
6 Jul 2009The recession in the air is continuing into the summer holiday season. Budget airline easyJet, which not long ago was expanding at more than 10% a year, today said it carried 4.1 million passengers last month, an increase of less than 1% over June 2008.
The carrier said on an annualised basis it has carried 44.5 million passengers, 7.9% more than in the previous 12 months.

It may help if their total fees were more transparent-we would then not shop around looking for a better deal.The ares start at one price and end up almost double on occasions-BA have no extras so the price quoted is the price you pay.
