Dunelm sets out its stall with sales leap
13 Jul 2009Cheap homeware store Dunelm is bucking the retail gloom with like-for-like sales growth of 5% in the first half of the year.
Shares in the group founded as a market stall in Leicester jumped 51⁄4p to 2131⁄4p today as it added that profit margins from its curtains, rugs and other household goods were also strongly ahead in the period.
Dunelm shares, floated on the Stock Exchange in 2006, have rocketed 80% in the past year.
