Blacks continues pitch for recovery

The recovery of Blacks Leisure under former Esporta boss Neil Gillis continues. The company behind Millets and Boardwear today said sales are in the 19 weeks to 11 July were down 1.8% — a “relative improvement”.

Blacks is in talks with banks about a renewal of its lending facilities, a process it is “confident” will complete soon. It was the target of a takeover bid from Sports Direct tycoon Mike Ashley earlier this year.

How can they possibly say that Blacks Leisure are continuing their recovery. Has anyone looked at their figures, and they are still making redundancies.
