Arup buys HQ from landlord for £60m

20.07.09

Landlord Derwent London today sold an eight-storey office block at 13-17 Fitzroy Street to tenant Arup for £60 million — 10% less than it was worth at the start of the year.

The block is the global headquarters of Arup, a firm of designers, engineers, planners and business consultants.

Derwent chief executive John Burns said: “We are committed to the strategic regeneration of the Fitzrovia area.”
