Capita surges on Labour’s spending
23 Jul 2009The Government may be in terminal decline but Capita, the public sector outsourcing firm which has benefited from Labour's reforms, is still flourishing.
The company which runs services from collecting the BBC licence fee to operating the Criminal Records Bureau said half-year underlying pre-tax profits leapt 18% last year to £141 million. It is hiking the dividend 17% to 5.6p.
