Union warns of BA cabin crew strike
4 Sep 2009British Airways cabin crew may launch a strike before Christmas, trade union bosses said today.
Union leaders believe BA will break agreements on staffing levels at the end of October triggering “inevitable” industrial action, according to a leaked memo from the BASSA union.
BA boss Willie Walsh wants to cut 2000 staff. The memo was leaked after talks between management and unions yesterday.
