Dairy Crest hails milkman’s return

Milk, butter and cheese group Dairy Crest says the milkman is back.
Its online delivery system is flying after being rolled out nationally, attracting 100,000 sign-ups. Country Life, the butter brand that features John Lydon in the TV ads, has just overtaken Anchor in sales.
It still lags market leader Lurpak. Dairy Crest has moved to slash debts in the face of the downturn. This has led to 400 job losses this year.
