British Land lures pair after exodus

British Land today lured two of Europe's top property veterans to beef up its management team after being rocked by a boardroom exodus.
The developer recruited Stephen Smith, global head of asset management at Axa Real Estate Management, and Charles Maudsley, co-head of Europe at LaSalle Investment Management.
Three senior directors quit less than a month ago.
