10 Carrera Subway Bikes To Give Away

The Evening Standard have teamed up with Sky Sports to offer readers the chance to win one of ten bikes and accessories worth over £300 each to celebrate Sky Sports London Freewheel which takes place on Sunday 21 September 2008.

The event is a great family day out and allows participants to capture views of some the capital's most spectacular landmarks as they cycle along a car-free central route past the Tower of London, the Houses of Parliament, the London Eye, Trafalgar Square and Buckingham Palace.

There will be a host of cycling entertainment on the day with the chance to meet World & Olympic Gold medallists from the British Olympic Cycling team including Victoria Pendleton and Ed Clancy; exciting mountain bike demonstrations, and the chance to win signed Great Britain cycling team jerseys in the Sky Sports sprint challenge.

Terms and conditions:

1. This Competition is open to all UK, Isle of Man, Channel Island and Republic of Ireland residents, aged 18 years or over. Proof of age may be required. Employees (or family members of employees) of any British Sky Broadcasting Group company, companies associated with the Promotion and all affiliates of such companies (collectively "the Companies") may not enter any prize draw or competition.
2. To take part in the Competition you need to participate in the Sky London Freewheel Evening Standard competition in The Evening Standard on Thursday 11th September 2008. Entries close Friday 12th September 2008. Winners will be picked at random and notified by telephone or email by Wednesday 17th September 2008. British Sky Broadcasting Limited ("Sky") does not accept responsibility for network, computer hardware or software failures of any kind, which may restrict or delay your entry into the Competition. Only one entry per person is allowed. Entries must not be sent through agents or third parties.
3. There is no cash alternative to any of the Prizes (or any part of them) and unless agreed otherwise in writing the prizes are not transferable.
4. Should any of the below prize elements be unavailable at the time of purchase, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute with an alternative of equal or greater value.
5. There will be 10 (ten) prizes given away, each prize to include:
1 x Bicycle (Carrera Subway 2 – male and female available)
1 x Bike helmet (Giro Stylus)
1 x Bike lock (Kryptonite Krypt keeper bike lock)
1 x Set of bike lights (Xenon silver bike light set)
1 x Bike pump (bikehut bike pump)

6. The terms and conditions of any third party supplier will apply to the prize where applicable.
7. Sky will not be liable for Prizes that do not reach the winners for reasons beyond Sky's reasonable control.
8. If any winner is not able, for whatever reason, to accept a prize, then Sky reserves the right to award the prize to another participant.
9. The Evening Standard's decision is final and legally binding on all entrants. No correspondence will be entered into. Entries that do not comply in full with these entry rules and conditions will be disqualified.
10. Details of prize winners names and counties will be available for one month after the close of the Competition by writing to Sky at Grant Way, Isleworth, Middlesex TW7 5QD and stating the name and date of the Competition.
11. The name, county and photograph of the winners may be used by Sky and its associated companies for post-event publicity purposes.
12. Sky will keep details of any entry that you make. By entering the Competition you allow us to see and share this information with other Companies including for sales, marketing and market research purposes and to send you information by mail about our products/services.
