Ken Livingstone, Boris Johnson and Brian Paddick will go head-to-head for the first time on live radio on Thursday and it promises to be a lively affair.

London talk radio station LBC 97.3 is hosting the hustings with outspoken presenter Nick Ferrari chairing the debate.

The event will be broadcast live from 8am to 9am across Greater London on 97.3 FM, on DAB digital radio and online at www.lbc.co.uk.

From 9am to 10am, there will be reaction and feedback from news and political commentators including the Evening Standard's Anne McElvoy as well as listeners.

Ken has committed not to increase the cost of the CONgestion zone, but will guarantee not to extend it any further?

I believe there is a real need for bus lanes in some areas, however, I fail to see the point in bus lanes that are only a few metres long or use up virtually the whole carriageway and create accidents and major hold-ups for the tax paying motorist.

Your thoughts please?
