Tottenham manager Juande Ramos has lost patience with Aaron Lennon and will look to sell him in the summer.

Ramos is determined to make mass changes in the close season and has been disappointed with Lennon's attitude as well as his ability with the ball.

Only last Friday, Ramos went public to complain that the 20-year-old needed to improve his performances, saying: "Everyone has to polish things in their game and make them better. Lennon just has to improve in that particular area."

But, noticeably, he was named on the bench for Spurs' dismal 4-1 defeat by Newcastle on Sunday and it is understood Ramos has been unimpressed with Lennon's attitude off the pitch. It is a remarkable fall from grace for Lennon, who was the subject of interest from Chelsea only 17 months ago.

A fee of £20million was mooted at the time for the winger, who joined from Leeds for £1m in 2005.

Lennon is set to join Pascal Chimbonda, Paul Robinson, Young Pyo-Lee and Teemu Tainio as Spurs players heading for the exit this summer.

Meanwhile, Tottenham's interest in Villarreal keeper Diego Lopez is over after he signed an extension to his contract to keep him at the club until 2014.

There are reports in Spain linking Spurs with a £12m move for Atletico Madrid and former Manchester United striker Diego Forlan.
