Gilberto title vow: 'Gunners can beat United and go on to win League'

Gilberto today issued a rallying call to his flagging team-mates as he insisted Arsenal can still lift the Premier League title if they win all five of their remaining matches.
The Brazilian will be back at the heart of the Gunners midfield for Sunday's clash with Manchester United at Old Trafford after Mathieu Flamini was ruled out with an ankle injury.
Arsenal trail the champions by six points with five games remaining and must win the league if they are to avoid a third successive season without silverware after defeat by Liverpool this week ended their Champions League challenge.
Arsene Wenger is convinced his side remain in the hunt and Gilberto agrees with his manager.
He said: "It's a big game. Maybe things can happen - you never know. The important thing is to try and forget what happened against Liverpool.
"We still have a chance to win the title but it's important that we win all five remaining games. If we do that, why not?"
The midfielder even tried to take some positives from the Anfield nightmare, adding: "Sometimes you learn more in defeats and nights like Tuesday than when you win.
"But of course no-one at this club enjoys it when we lose or miss the opportunity to play in a Champions League semi-final. We will all learn from that result."
Flamini's injury compounded a heartbreaking night on Merseyside but the French midfielder is expected to return in time to face Derby at the end of the month.
"I believe Mathieu will be out for three weeks," Wenger told Arsenal TV Online. "It's a big blow but Gilberto has a lot of quality and experience and he will help the team recover and focus."
Dutch striker Robin van Persie is available to start at Old Trafford but defender Bacary Sagna is missing with an ankle problem.

I believe that if Wenger had given Theo Walcott an extended run not ruined Gilberto and Jens ,Arsenal would still be in the champions league and top of the premiership.
Rubbish Theo is too young, look at the starting ages of Owen, Rooney, etc. Theo must feel dejected with the players that have been put in front of him, a half fit Van Percy and a selection of mid field players used as part time strikers. Arsenal badly need a striker and us fans are getting fed up, Arsene. Is it time for fresh ideas at management level it's been three years Mr Wenger and we have had enough of your excuses and refusal to give the hair drier treatment to buck up your un-dropables.
