Star: the Chelsea youth team's Scott Sinclair is on loan at Palace

Sinclair: We can pass the play-off test

Scott Sinclair admits Crystal Palace's play-off showdown with Burnley is the biggest game of his fledgling career.

The Chelsea starlet has dazzled against some of the Premier League's top clubs and basked in the atmosphere of some of Europe's grandest stadiums.

Wembley, the Emirates and Stamford Bridge . . . Sinclair has left his mark on them all since graduating from the Chelsea youth team in 2006. But despite all those heady occasions the 18-year-old believes the atmosphere awaiting him at Selhurst Park on Sunday will be special.

The Eagles need a win to make sure of their place in the top six and Sinclair, on loan at Selhurst Park, insists he will not buckle under the pressure. He said: "It will be one of the biggest games I've played in.

"At Chelsea I played against Manchester United, Arsenal and Liverpool but this is a big game in its own right. Promotion is massive for the club and all the players."

Sinclair's red-hot form is one of the reasons Palace find themselves on the brink of a Premier League return. He has struck up an instant rapport with Clinton Morrison and highly-rated teenager Victor Moses, who has attracted the interest of the Blues.
