Watson on way out of Palace as he snubs deal

Ben Watson is set to hand in a transfer request to Crystal Palace despite being offered an improved deal.
Queens Park Rangers lead the chase for the midfielder, having already seen a £1.25million bid rejected, but Reading could also make an offer for Watson if they sell James Harper. Palace boss Neil Warnock said: "It seems to me he is ready for a move."
QUEENS PARK RANGERS' bid to sign Blackpool's Wes Hoolahan could be scuppered by FIFA. Rangers are keen to seal a £375,000 deal for the midfielder but the move is in doubt as FIFA have yet to decide how much Blackpool should pay Hoolahan's former club, Livingston, in return for taking him to Bloomfield Road in 2007.
The delay over the move could force Rangers boss Iain Dowie to turn to other targets.
