AC Milan revealed today that their only transfer target for the summer is Emmanuel Adebayor as Jose Mourinho spelled out for the first time his intention to take Frank Lampard and Didier Drogba to city rivals Inter.

The two Italian clubs are determined to capture the signings of three of the Premier League's biggest stars in moves that would seriously undermine Arsenal and London neighbours Chelsea. Gunners boss Arsene Wenger will be furious that Milan have spoken publically about another of his players having already captured Mathieu Flamini on a free transfer.

The Frenchman had warned the Italians that Adebayor - who scored 30 goals last season - was not for sale.

But Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani said: "We have only one transfer project: to sign Adebayor. Either Adebayor will arrive or no one will arrive.

"There are no negotiations for Drogba and nor are there any for Barcelona striker Samuel Eto'o.

"We believe our squad is already good enough to win the league title. It depends on Arsenal. The player has a contract and when another club asks for one of our players and we say 'no', the negotiations end there.

"At the moment, Arsenal are saying 'no', so there is no room for movement. Everything can change, but at the moment, I have a letter from Arsenal saying they are not willing to negotiate."

Inter do want to sign Drogba and former Chelsea boss Mourinho would love to have Lampard and Barcelona midfielder Deco join him at the San Siro. He said: "I am not nostalgic but I cannot forget Deco, Lampard and Drogba. These are players who I could never say no to. I would love to work with them again."

Lampard, who turns 30 tomorrow, is demanding a four-year extension to his contract but Chelsea are reportedly only offering him two years.

Meanwhile, Steve Kean, assistant boss at Coventry, says he will turn down an offer to join Luiz Felipe Scolari's coaching staff.

The Scot, who played with Coimbra in Portugal and speaks the language, said: "I don't think [I will go] because I'm happy with the project we've got at Coventry."
