McClaren's backwith Twente job

Former England boss Steve McClaren was today named as the new manager of Dutch club FC Twente.
The 47-year-old, sacked last November after England failed to reach Euro 2008, signed a two-year deal with the club, who are in the third Champions League qualifying round.
McClaren, the former Middlesbrough manager, said: "My message to the fans is a simple one: we will do everything in our power to take the club forward. It is great to be back in club management and it's a challenge that I relish."
