Ince will be 'outstanding'
Evening Standard 23 Jun 2008Blackburn chairman John Williams believes Paul Ince will prove to be "an outstanding manager".
Ince will be unveiled to the media tomorrow after replacing Mark Hughes at Ewood Park.
The 40-year-old arrives from MK Dons, the club he led to promotion from League Two last season, on a three-year deal having been chosen ahead of Steve McClaren, Sam Allardyce and Michael Laudrup.
Williams said: "We took our time finding a new manager, and we've been as thorough as possible.
"We had some very impressive candidates on our list.
"But Paul Ince has come out on top and I think he will prove to be an outstanding manager. I'm very excited by the appointment."
