Ronaldo on mend after his ankle op

Cristiano Ronaldo walked out of hospital this morning on crutches as Real Madrid kept up their pursuit of the Manchester United winger.
Ronaldo will miss the start of the season following the ankle operation he had in Amsterdam.
However, Real hope he has already played his last game for United. The Spanish club's president Ramon Calderon said: "If Ronaldo wants to leave Manchester, he'll leave." It will be at least a month before his ankle is assessed as to when he can return to action.
