West Ham steal a date with Becks

West Ham will face David Beckham when they take on an MLS All-Star XI in a friendly in Toronto on 24 July.

England midfielder Beckham and LA Galaxy team-mate Landon Donovan were among those voted into the side by American fans, players, officials and the media.

West Ham announced today their friendly against Spanish club Villarreal on 8 August will be for the Bobby Moore Cup with part of the proceeds going to the cancer charity formed in their former captain's name.
