Murray needs a rest

12 Jul 2008

Andy Murray has pulled out of next week's Indianapolis Tennis Championships.

The British number one, back in the world's top 10 after reaching the quarter-finals of Wimbledon where he lost to winner Rafael Nadal, has withdrawn in order to rest ahead of a busy schedule.

A spokesperson for the player said on his official website: "Andy wants to take some rest and recharge his batteries before a very gruelling period including the Beijing Olympics."
