Drogba: I'm struggling to get in shape

Didier Drogba has admitted he is finding it hard to return to full fitness after a knee injury and may need more time before he is ready to play for Chelsea.

Drogba hasn't played for the first team since he was sent off in the Champions League Final in May due to a recurrence of a knee problem.

He played 58 minutes on his comeback for the reserves against Arsenal on Monday but said: "It's a bit early to say I'm in good shape.

"It's really hard to get back to full fitness. I need time to recover and the good thing for me is the club understand that."
