Waiting game: John Lloyd has reason to be optimistic over Andy Murray

Lloyd hopes to convince Murray to play his part

Evening Standard   24 Sep 2008

John Lloyd has returned home to the United States still waiting to discover if Andy Murray is willing to play a part in Great Britain's Davis Cup tie against Ukraine next March.

However, team captain Lloyd hopes to confirm the world No4's availability as soon as possible.

He has reason to be optimistic as the Euro-African zone tie is to be played indoors in the week between the Dubai Open and the Masters Series tournament at Indian Wells.
