Ashley Cole
Fair game? Ashley Cole suffers

Angry Wembley Boo-boys backed by fans' spokesman

England players have been warned that they will always be at risk of being booed by fans if they fail to perform.

Mark Perryman of the England Fans supporters' group is adamant that fans have the right to turn on any member of the team including Ashley Cole if they wish.

He said: "I didn't boo Ashley Cole and I don't boo the team during the game. But the players who get so excited when we cheer them should not get on the fans' backs when they boo.

"There are fans in the stands who would cut off a finger to play for England and when they see somebody playing badly it matters to them. The fans who are going to Belarus this week will probably lose three days' work and spend around £400. So why shouldn't they be able to criticise if they want to?"

YOU DONT BOO YOUR OWN TEAM FULL STOP!!!!!!! These people should not go to Watch England. We all pay to watch football and love England and our clubs. Mistakes happen in Football, you dont hear other Nations getting on there players backs when they are winning or not playing great. GET BEHIND OUR TEAM AND SUPPORT THEM OR DONT GO.

The truth is these players are so up themselves we are being told to cheer bad play. As much as they earn and with England’s record of winning nothing for over thirty years we are being asked to cheer dire play!
The truth is Cole has been promoted beyond his level of skill and the general populous are now beginning to see he does not belong in an England team.
How dare anyone question the fans right to express themselves as its their hard earned cash that keeps this game going

Ashley Cole being boo'ed at Wembley was a culmination of things not just the one bad back pass, he was paying for other indiscriminations he has made is during his career and his petulant reputation is not a good one with football fans, so Ashley, you made your bed, lie in it!
And who does Rio Ferdinand think he is sying fans that boo'ed him should be ashamed!! He's a fine one to talk!
