RFU bank on a Test bonanza

Chris Jones, Rugby Correspondent
16 Oct 2008

Twickenham chiefs will bank a staggering £20million from England's four November internationals despite a drop in hospitality sales.

The Tests against Australia, South Africa and New Zealand are already 80,000 sell-outs and more than 40,000 tickets have been sold for the Pacific Islanders game. A record £5.1m will be earned from each of the sold-out matches.

Meanwhile, Saracens director of coaching Eddie Jones wants to coach South Africa.

Jones, who guided Australia to the 2003 World Cup final and was technical advisor to Jake White's 2007 World Cup-winning Springboks side, said: "The honour to coach the Boks is a big one. I'll definitely consider it if and when the time is right."
