Paula Radcliffe
New York hat-trick: Radcliffe on her way to victory

Victorious Paula will pace herself for London games

3 Nov 2008

Paula Radcliffe will pick and choose her races in a bid to reach the 2012 London Olympics in peak condition.

The 34-year-old Briton won the New York City Marathon yesterday for the third time romping home one minute and 47 seconds ahead of Russia's Ludmila Petrova in 2hr 23min 56sec.

After three years hit by injuries and a lay-off due to her pregnancy, Radcliffe said: "I certainly wouldn't go above racing three marathons a year."

Will the appalling paula pick the ones that pay the most? She seems to do well when money is involved, but blows it when it's her country.
I tried to read her Biography once, but gave up half way through.
Please don't give her or the "elite" mercenaries any of my Tax pounds
