Donington revamp delayed by council

12.11.08

Work to turn Donington Park into a venue suitable to host the 2010 British Grand Prix will not start before the New Year.

Planning permission for the £100million project was expected to be granted this month.

But a spokesman for North West Leicestershire District Council said: "We do not believe the final application will go before the Planning Committee until our meeting on 27 January."
