Nick Faldo is keen to captain at the Ryder Cup again despite being criticised after Europe's defeat in September.
Faldo is unlikely to be in charge at Celtic Manor in 2010 but the six-times major winner, who is playing in this week's Hong Kong Open, said: "I loved the buzz and I thought the team atmosphere was great.
"It is such a special event and if something happens I will certainly think about it."
