Crewe draw felt like a loss, says Jackett

22.12.08

Kenny Jackett says Millwall's goalless draw with basement side Crewe felt more like a defeat.

Jackett said: "It was frustrating. We had shots but we didn't create enough clear-cut chances and in the end it was a disappointing day for us."

Martin Ling has challenged his Leyton Orient side to start repeating their away form at home. Ling watched his team scrape a 1-1 draw with high-flying Oldham, despite them going a goal down.

Jason Demetriou pulled Orient level after his initial spot-kick was saved by keeper Greg Fleming. Ling said: "The problem isn't when we travel away. The problem lies at home and we've got to turn that around."

Brentford drew 1-1 with Gillingham but had striker Nathan Elder sent off. Defender Mark Phillips said: "It was a foul on Marvin Williams. He was trying to get up and Nathan tried to help his team-mate.

"Nathan said he took a head butt but said he didn't punch or do anything. We feel it is unjust."

Dagenham & Redbridge smashed Macclesfield 4-0 with Paul Benson scoring twice, while Barnet drew 2-2 with Darlington.
