Clint Dempsey's targeting a top-10 finish
23 Dec 2008Clint Dempsey is determined to follow up two seasons of frustration at Fulham by securing a finish in the top half of the Premier League table.
The United States international, who scored the third goal in his side's 3-0 victory over Middlesbrough at the weekend, said: "My expectations for the team are to finish in the top 10.
"We obviously don't want to be in the same situation we were last season. We want to be moving in the right direction because in the two seasons that I have been at Craven Cottage we've barely managed to stay up."
