Jackett salutes goal hero Harris
Ben Hunt14 Jan 2009
Millwall boss Kenny Jackett hailed Neil Harris as “a magnificent servant” after his goal made him the club's all-time leading scorer.
Harris netted his 112th for the club to eclipse Teddy Sheringham's haul as they beat Crewe 3-2 in their third-round FA Cup replay at the Alexandra Stadium.
The striker tapped in after Scott Barron had cancelled out Luke Murphy's opener for the home side. Shaun Miller pegged Crewe back before Zak Whitbread headed the winner.

Neil Harris deserves all the accolades going the manager told him that he was surplus to requirements at this time last year and he just got on with proving him wrong and credit to Kenny Jackett for not being too proud to change his mind. Listening to Neil on the radio last night he came across a true professional that many premiership players could learn from.
