Fulham have confirmed that striker Seol Ki-Hyeon has joined Saudi Arabian club Al-Hilal on loan until the end of the season.

Seol has not featured for the Cottagers since October, and manager Roy Hodgson had made it clear HE could leave if a suitable offer came in.

The 30-year-old arrived at Craven Cottage in summer 2007 from Reading, where he made 30 appearances in the Royals' first season in the top flight.

He signed a three-year contract at Fulham but failed to score in the 12 appearances he made in his debut season.

The striker rose to fame after playing all six of his country's games during the 2002 World Cup, which was jointly hosted by South Korea and Japan.

His only Fulham goal came in the Cottagers' opening match of this season against Hull, and Hodgson has decided to allow him to play out the rest of the season at the Saudi Premier League champions.

Hodgson has revitalised Fulham this season, the west Londoners up into the top half of the Barclays Premier League table and having a game in hand following the postponement of their match against strugglers Blackburn last weekend.

Fulham head to West Ham on Sunday, and defender Aaron Hughes knows there is little room for complacency - with his team still only six points clear of the bottom three despite their promising form.

"With the game being on a Sunday and with us not having had the match last weekend, it means we have an extra couple of days to put in a bit more work," Hughes told his club's official website, www.fulhamfc.com.

"We are both in a little cluster of teams - but if we want to maintain our form and keep going, we need to get a good result out of it.

"If we are going to do well we are going to have to stick to our work ethic - which we have done very well on - and play football the way we have been doing."
