Prior agrees new contract with Sussex
21 Jan 2009England wicketkeeper Matt Prior has signed a new three-year deal with Sussex which will keep him at the club until the end of the 2011 season.
The 26-year-old is looking forward to playing his part at Hove under coach Mark Robinson and new captain Mike Yardy.
"As a club, we've had great success over the last few years and with this new era led by 'Robbo' and Mike I am certain that there will be plenty more to come," said Prior (above), who made 983 first-class runs and 446 in limited-overs cricket last summer.
Meanwhile, medium-pace bowler Alex Gidman, 27, has been appointed Gloucestershire captain.
