Zola's window pain

Gianfranco Zola says he hates the transfer window but hopes to do some more business before it closes next Monday.

The West Ham boss, who will have new £9million record signing Savio Nsereko on the bench for tonight's clash at home to Hull, is searching for a midfield replacement for Hayden Mullins, who has joined Portsmouth.

"If we feel the squad need strengthening we will try and do something but the transfer window is a nightmare and I can't wait until it's over," said Zola.

The manager has high hopes for 19-year-old striker Savio, who he says is an exciting prospect. "We've been following Savio for a long time," added Zola. "He's very good at taking players on and he is very much as I was when I was 19."
