Becks admits he could quit LA for Milan

28 Jan 2009

David Beckham says he is split over whether to join AC Milan or stay with LA Galaxy.

The 33-year-old midfielder earns a fortune in the United States and is supposed to end his short-term loan in Italy in March.

Milan want to keep Beckham although Galaxy have, so far, said they want him back. "To play here is the dream of any player," said Beckham. "But deciding is not easy.

"I am under contract and I have a lot of respect for Galaxy. But the possibility to play at Milan is something special.

"I knew I would have fun but I didn't expect to have so much fun. In any case, I am a very respectful person."

England coach Fabio Capello will be at the San Siro tonight to watch Beckham against Genoa.

Beckham is only one cap away from equalling Bobby Moore's outfield record of 108 appearances.
